DTP as an Official Partner of Winobranie 2023
Winobranie – Poland’s largest Wine Festival – was held in Zielona Góra from the 9th to the 17th of September. Digital Technology Poland returned as the Official Partner of this event for the second time.
Winobranie is connected with the grape harvest season from the local vineyards. Each year the festival begins with the symbolic handover of the city gate’s key to Bacchus, the god of wine, and ends with a ceremonial artistic parade through the streets of Zielona Góra.
Winobranie boasts a rich history, with the first celebration of this holiday dating back to 1846. The festival spans 9 days, brimming with attractions. Numerous concerts, performances, a trade fair, guided tours of the local vineyards and wine tastings are just a few of the great attractions awaiting visitors in Zielona Góra during this time.
This year’s festival had a special significance, as Zielona Góra is concurrently celebrating the 800th anniversary since its founding and the 700th anniversary of being granted the city rights. Digital Technology Poland was also marking its own milestone, the 10th anniversary.
Winobranie provided an excellent occasion for our employees to meet and celebrate together. The highlights of the event were the party bus tours through the streets of Zielona Góra, joined by the city’s mayor, Janusz Kubicki, and Bacchus himself. Great atmosphere, excellent wine, party music, and wonderful people guaranteed an unforgettable event.
Therefore, we are already looking forward to the next Winobranie and meeting with Bacchus.
