We know the winners of the Algorithmic Skirmishes 2021
For the 17th time the best algorithmicians in Poland competed in an open algorithmic-programming competition Algorithmic Skirmishes (Potyczki Algorytmiczne). Digital Technology Poland was the partner of this event. The first competition was organised in 2005 by the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics of the University of Warsaw led by the Director of the Institute of Informatics, Professor Krzysztof Diks in the cooperation with Professor Janusz Szajna.
The Algorithmic Skirmishes competition consists of five remote rounds, played via Internet, and the final, to which the 20 highest ranked participants will reach. The winner of the final is awarded the title of Algorithmic Master of the Year. Each remote round lasts between 33 and 63 hours. There are between 1 and 4 tasks to be solved during each round. The tasks consist in writing software to solve the described problem.
A total of 1281 competitors entered the remote rounds. Twenty out of the best participants qualified to the final stage of this competition, which took place on the 23rd January 2022 at the University of Warsaw Library. The winner of this year’s Skirmishes was Anadi Agrawal, a student of the University of Wrocław, the second place was taken by Wojciech Nadara – a PhD student of the University of Warsaw, and the third one by Marek Sommer – a graduate of the University of Warsaw.

Znamy zwycięzców Potyczek Algorytmicznych 2021
Po raz 17-ty najlepsi w Polsce algorytmicy zmierzyli się w otwartym konkursie algorytmiczno-programistycznym Potyczki Algorytmiczne. Kolejny raz Digital Technology Poland było partnerem tego wydarzenia. Pierwsze zawody zostały zorganizowane w 2005 roku przez Wydział Matematyki, Informatyki i Mechaniki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego pod kierownictwem dyrektora Instytutu Informatyki, prof. Krzysztofa Diksa we współpracy z prof. Januszem Szajną.
Potyczki Algorytmiczne składają się z pięciu rund zdalnych, rozgrywanych przez Internet, oraz finału, do którego awansuje 20 najwyżej sklasyfikowanych uczestników. Zwycięzca finału otrzymuje tytuł Algorytmistrza Roku. Każda runda zdalna trwa od 33 do 63 godzin i zawiera od jednego do czterech zadań. Polegają one na napisaniu programu komputerowego rozwiązującego opisany problem.
Do rund zdalnych przystąpiło 1281 zawodników. Dwudziestu najlepszych awansowało do Wielkiego Finału, który miał miejsce 23 stycznia 2022 roku w Bibliotece Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Zwycięzcą tegorocznych Potyczek został Anadi Agrawal, student Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego, drugi był Wojciech Nadara – doktorant z Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, a trzeci Marek Sommer – absolwent Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego.
