This is the second year in a row when DTP participated in the world’s biggest trade – Hannover Messe. We were present at the Harting booth. As a Software and Hardware Partner of Harting, we were presenting a concept of using Augmented Reality in Industry 4.0.
During Hannover Messe 2018 we were presenting an application dedicated to the Rinspeed’s “Snap” concept vehicle. Its main goal is to display general or service information about the car. Harting’s industrial microcomputer MICA collects information from the car which can be displayed by AR application developed by DTP. There are many scenarios of use of our application: car showcase with all features preview, service diagnose by showing all currently reported problems or showing different kind of reports about the current or past state of the car – all presented in Augmented Reality.
During the fair, we presented the application to countless fair visitors who were able to test it by themselves using AR glasses. The application was well received. There were many positive comments and inspirational ideas discussed after using and viewing our application.
