From hard work to success. DTP at Eplan Next26

Eplan Next 2026 has officially come to a close – and what a powerful premiere it was. For two days, Cavalluna Park in Munich became a meeting point for the international engineering community, bringing together innovation, AI, digital workflows and the future of control cabinet manufacturing under one roof.

Among the key highlights were exclusive insights into the upcoming Eplan Platform 2027, new AI-driven solutions, inspiring best practice sessions, hands-on Master Classes and pioneering concepts presented in the Future Lab. The event clearly showed where industrial engineering is heading: toward smarter processes, better data, stronger integration and more scalable ways of working.

For DTP, Eplan Next26 was an huge milestone. In the Future Lab area, was presented prototype of a comprehensive digital solution supporting the planning, preparation, supervision and execution of manual control cabinet assembly. It was a strong opportunity to show how our work connects shopfloor reality with digital innovation — and how technology can support people, quality and efficiency in everyday production processes. Interest in the prototype exceeded all expectations. With every passing minute, more and more guests visited at the booth, and those who had already seen it brought their business partners and colleagues. Also in attendance were Prof. Friedhelm Loh, Dr. Masahiko Mori from DMG Mori, Rainer Brehm from Siemens, and many other company executives and everyone else for whom progress and development in control cabinet manufacturing is one of the highlighted topic in the future.

It was two incredibly intense days at the festival, but every moment was used to the fullest – and the result was a complete success. This success was the result of dedication, months of teamwork and a clear focus on solving real industry challenges. Eplan Next26 confirmed that the future of engineering is not only about new tools, but also about collaboration, practical impact and the courage to bring ideas to life.

We are proud to have been part of this first edition and are already looking forward to what comes next. See you at the Eplan Next27.
