Exciting News for the Tech Community: Potyczki Algorytmiczne 2025 and Software is COOL
We’re thrilled to announce two significant events that should be of great interest to anyone involved or interested in technology and algorithms.

Potyczki Algorytmiczne 2025: Celebrating 20 Years of Competition

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Potyczki Algorytmiczne, the oldest and the most prestigious competition in the Polish IT landscape. The final of this special anniversary edition will be held in Zielona Góra, hosted by Digital Technology Poland, with the University of Warsaw and the Foundation for Information Technology Development (FRI).

We invite you to witness the competition firsthand at Lubuskie Marshal’s Office on Saturday (May 24th), between 10:00 and 12:00. DTP representatives will be present to provide insights into the event. You can also watch the Final Gala online on Saturday, from 17:00 to 18:00, on the Potyczki Algorytmiczne YouTube channel.

The event is under the Honorary Patronage of the Marshal of the Lubuskie Province, the President of Zielona Góra and the Rector of the University of Zielona Góra.

Software is COOL: A Complementary Conference

Accompanied by Potyczki Algorytmiczne, Digital Technology Poland is organizing another meeting in the Software is COOL series. The conference will take place on May 23rd (Friday) at the Regional Center for Animation of Culture (RCAK) in Zielona Góra, from 13:30 to 17:00.

Scene for Youth: Inspiring the Next Generation

As a part of Software is COOL, the Scene for Youth will be dedicated to high school students from Zielona Góra participating in Professor Diks’s “Championships in Algorithmics and Programming” program.

Professor Krzysztof Diks, a long-time lecturer of Informatics at the University of Warsaw and winner of the Stanisław Lem Prize in 2024, will share his experience and knowledge.
