We had an inspirational meeting with Polish Nobel Prize Winner Olga Tokarczuk during the Mountains of Literature Festival.

This year’s 11th edition of festival, held from July 4th to 12th across over 20 picturesque locations in Lower Silesia, offered a diverse program of almost 160 meetings, literary discussions, workshops, concerts, and educational initiatives aimed at fostering critical thinking and cultural awareness. The event brought together over 200 leading voices in the areas of literature, art, politics, and charity.

Olga Tokarczuk, the Nobel Prize winner in Literature in 2019, is the author of many highly regarded novels translated into several languages. Her work raises the topics of identity, spirituality, interpersonal relationships, and social responsibility.
The discussion was truly fascinating, exploring the future of reading in the digital age and how technology can both preserve and share our literary heritage. These themes aligned perfectly with the festival’s core message of civic and cultural activism. Both sides are convinced that the synergy between their worlds can bring about innovative and lasting solutions that will serve society in a rapidly changing world.

At DTP, we believe that technological development cannot happen in isolation from human values. The Foundation’s vision, which creates a space for artists, people of literature, politics, perfectly aligns with our ethos—to create solutions that not only simplify work but also enrich our lives and promote social good.

We can’t wait for the next festival edition and look forward to the interesting initiatives organized by the Olga Tokarczuk Foundation.
